I tend to be a lot more outspoken about being a liberal than an atheist. I am an atheist but I overwhelmingly believe in liberal policies. We constantly hear that liberals don't have a message. We have many messages such as those in the meme but too many of us are a bit chicken-shit about speaking up.

What do conservatives conserve? I don't see that they are helping anyone besides themselves. Liberal and proud of it.

I've always had the same question. I assume they conserve homophobia and other types of bigotry.
@JanGarber And they do a damned good job of it!
They "conserve" the status quo order of privilege, which of course favors the rich and powerful. Rich and powerful who have NOT gotten where they are at the expense of the less fortunate are hard to find. ...Oprah, perhaps?
