Ethnic cleansing is still a problem all over Africa and Central and South America even into the last few decades, and even not counting the Crusades, witch hunts, Inquisitions, the whole nazi debacle, Stalin's entire regime, Pol Pot...genocide is an old and prolific problem.

As many as prior to records began... plus add those omitted from records. Many relabeled as Discovery, Colonization, Anexation, etc, etc, etc. Race, Religion, Greed... it was all good for the Empires that be.
