I know it breaks the humor of the post, but that would be a poorly raised dog.

When I raised my German Shepherd (yes, clicked through based on the title), I would deliberately take things (including food) from him just so he wouldn't think he was the alpha dog. Sorry bud, it's not yours, it's mine.

Very much the same with basset hounds. Though a few rules need to be added about what is their bed.

I'm more concerned with the tinier breeds that need to be aggressive just to make a point.
In any case I am a law abiding citizen and the German Shepherd can have it all and more.
