Funny. I just typed a long diatribe response to the administrator's post asking how conservatives/Republicans on this site can hope to receive any respectful dialogue.
I think actually fighting for social policies that don't disenfranchise entire sweeping categories of demographic groups and whip up hate against us....THAT would be a good place to start if they want liberals or progressives to "talk nice" to them.

It reminds me of Christians who spend significant energy demonizing and ostrasizing gay and trans people, only to scream that THEY, x-tians, are the "real" victims of bigotry for being called out for their hate speech. Nice try. They have been using these backward-ass claims of persecution to whip up the faithful, because it fits their narrative "Satan's spiritual war against God's people." Fear is the cornerstone of Christian evangelism, and WE become the bogeyman surrogates in their proselytizing game.
