What type of music does everyone listen to?
I guess I'm going through a late mid-life crisis...better late than never! Otherwise, my music tastes are wide and varied. There is a very limited selection of country music I can stomach. Rap and Hip Hop, meh.
Here in Thailand I've become a fan of K-pop, Thai pop, and Japanese pop, and I can listen to streaming music in any genre I choose on accuradio.com.
I also love bluegrass, jazz, rock, pop, classical music, rap, rock, R&B, Cuban, African, Caribbean, Latin pop, ethnic music, and some folk.
I love all music.? C & W and Hip Hop a little less than the other genres.
Here on Kauai, most of the music is Hapa Haole Hawaiian Music, played by local musicians in open air settings, and mixed in with old rock and roll favorites and other easy listening and hula tunes. I usually enjoy the music from the beach side bars, while I sit on a log on the beach, enjoying the ocean waves and the changing colors of the evening sky. Otherwise, I do go out to the local dancing joints when there is some good rock and roll and blues being played. Live music is the best. Other than that, I listen to various recorded tunes I've collected over the years, from a variety of genres.
I don't like rap or country. I mostly listen to hard rock, classic rock, heavy metal, disco, and old R&B. Oh and a little punk rock thrown in here and there for good measure. I like a lot of other genres of music too.
classics...Schubert, Sibelious, Led Zepplin...
Smooth Jazz, mostly, but I also love classic rock, opera, and classical music. I am not ashamed to admit to listening to AC/DC, Neil Diamond, and the Bee Gees in the same night. Original music from friends is also in my playlist.
Interesting. I have AC/DC and Bee Gees on the mp3 player in my car and Neil Diamond on the mp3 player I listen to at night.
@sewchick57 We are soul sisters!!!
I listen a lot to my own. But anything but rap works for me.
I've got Neil Diamond on now but also older country, country rock, 60's -70's rock, even some classical. Oh yeah ABBA.
