Pic: driving my TN Walking Horse on access roads near Morehead, Kentucky
I saunter and stroll. To the dismay of my fourlegged companion. He'd like to run like hell, everywhere, there might be squirrels in them there bushes. I used to ride horses years ago and loved that. Canoeing also. Unfortunately a knee injury has kept me from doing a lot that I want to do. Dream of hiking and riding again.
Love that picture!
Hikes, walks, canoe, row boat, bicycle.
But I'd love to have an electric freestyle jet ski!
Me 2!

Bicycling, Stand Up Paddling, Kayaking, Snorkeling, Floating down a lazy river, Hiking. In that order, so I guess biking is my go to means of transportation, if destination is under 5 miles away and I can be a bit sweaty when I arrive. I bicycle for pleasure and exercise more often than transportation, but I do sometimes bike to work meetings or running errands close to home.
Hiking, horseback riding, sailing, bicycling, walking, canoeing.
I used to like bicycles until they changed them into some freak thing you had to ride while looking straight down and made the seat so damned small it might shove right up your ass. I've since found that if you spend a good $500 plus you can get a good old fashioned bike still. I once had a girlfriend who bought me the first style of "racing bike" and I rode it to work twice. After that I gave it back to her. She gave it to a family member.
Hiking, walking, running.
Swimming, sailing, rowing, kayaking and paddling a canoe.
Favorite: Hiking is my passion.
I can go for hiking. I have feet problems with tingling and I wear New Balance shoes with a diabetic insert. If I'm wearing those shoes I might out hike you. My ex liked to walk track and she couldn't keep up with me.
In 2017 I set a personal record by hiking 326 miles with over 63,200 feet of elevation gain. Couldn't have done it without weightlifting and running.
My women's hiking group has boiled down to three strong hikers: Karen, Gro and me. In the winter, we keep going on snowshoes and micro-spikes.
This is the hike I did today. Janus Lake Hike- "I'm going down there?"
Still think you can out-hike me? I don't think so.
@LiterateHiker I'm a former weightlifter but I give up now! Ten laps around the high school track was enough for me.
Very funny!
Labor Day is my birthday. I'll be 65. Karen and I will go on a hike to celebrate.
@LiterateHiker Sounds good. I wish you both well. BTW, happy birthday too.
@LiterateHiker Hey, you'll be MY age, LOL!
And Happy birthday!
