Describe the perfect Lasagna
Perfectly al dente lasagna noodles, a mix of chunky vegetable sauce and marinara. Ground beef, not turkey. Ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan. Baked so the cheese on top has a slight crisp to it. Ok, well, I know what I am making for dinner tonight!
That sounds good.... But I like to mix in sweet Italian sausage and also some wine into the sauce. Lots of cheese! Served with garlic bread.
Sheesh... I'm having coffee in the morning and my mouth is already watering!
Ricotta, slabs of mozzarella, small meatballs, firm yet soft, meat sauce, feels like 100 pounds when it sits in your stomach lol
Everything homemade.
Meatless, spinach, white sauce, ricotta. Mmmmmmm.
I'm on the way! Can you add some mushrooms for me? Basil?
@LucyLoohoo yup! Extra shrooms!
Alright, that woke up my appetite. Time to eat, I guess.
@FutureFicus So! What did you have?
@LucyLoohoo Spaghetti. By the way, Beyond Meat makes a great beef substitute. Everybody thought I was back to eating meat. I just wish it came in a chuck like beef does.
Made mine the other day. Must make sauce from scratch sauteing garlic, chopped onions, peppers and mushrooms, ground beef or sausage or both crushed tomatoes-2 large cans 28 0z. tomato paste, and Italian seasoning. Cook lasagne inseparate pot, drain and layer sauce, lasagna, ricotta cheese, sauce, parmesan cheese with 3layers. Bake at 325 degrees till golden brown. Manga.
Italian sausage sauted with garlic, bell peppers and onions, chopped fresh spinach, and shrooms, simmered in basil sauce, then intermittent layering atop lasagna noodles. Like meat sauce, Parmesan, ricotta or cottage cheese, and mozerella mix, noodles, then meat sauce, and cheese mix again, noodles. I just made that up, Imma have to try that!

Game, set and match.
"clever"
@Hicks66 you think a comment about how I prefer a certain food is offensive then you have problems, not me.
@LadyAlyxandrea kids in korea and all that. throwing food away is offensive on the face of it.
@Hicks66 oh please. Throwing away an imaginary cyber lasagna does nothing. Get over yourself sir. It's a lasagna not a dick so don't take it so hard.
Oh but how DARE I express my dislike of something boooo
@LadyAlyxandrea Boo indeed. Cyberkids would feast for weeks were it not for the likes of you. Oh, and given the choice between a Richard and pasta, pasta wins. Richard has been of little to no use lo these many years. The less said, the better.
Really though, aside from the allegorical there little to take issue with here. I assure you though, there will be some tossing and turning, yet I shall endure. Because of you...despite you.... it matters not. Alas.
