Greetings one and all.. I love it when someone starts talking about religion because it just makes me laugh and want to crush their delusional ideology, i particularly like doing this to followers of Islam which is without question the worst of all religions known to man

Hi, Peter, and welcome to the website.

Not I. I ignore people if they start talking religion, mumble "Um, hum, that's nice," and walk off.

By the way, this website has a bit of a learning curve, so here's some info, in case you need it.

For members who are open to dating, certain thumbnails and profiles have a heart symbol on them with a percentage. This identifies which members are open to dating, and the percent shows approximately how compatible others are with them.

You gain website points by answering all the profile questions and writing a bio, which also earns website points, and helps other members get to know you.

Commenting on posts and writing your own posts earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.

If you want to date, the website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match.

Many people prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find others with similar interests..

In case you didn't know yet, to find members near you, click on the "Browse" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters.
Click on the "Discuss" button, then "Nearby" to find members near you also.
Or click on the "About" button at the top left of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.
Points are now being given to level 3+ members who chat. You can see chat rooms on the group main page or at [agnostic.com].

I presume you are new here, so welcome. I think it is not a good idea to laugh at anyone’s beliefs, at least not to their faces. Better by far to counter their belief system by using reason. Most religious people have no ability to use critical thought as they have been brainwashed from birth in most cases, it is better to try to get them to open their own minds to your arguments against their belief in god than to mock them. In as far as religions are concerned, they are all bad for humanity it’s just the degrees of badness that vary.

In my mind all religions are equally bogus and flawed. Sometimes people say to me "you haven't tried or followed this other religion." Once you see the flaw in religious belief there is no reason to frantically "try" others. Gods are imaginary.

I am not sure why you emphasise "Islam" and label it。Have you really done an indepth study of all the other religions?

I don't think there's any one religion worse than others.

I dunno..I quite like Thai Buddhism! Love the meditation, glittering temples, temple feasts and dances, ringing the ancient temple bells to make my wishes come true, etc

i believe that people have a right to believe any stupid thing they want to believe. if they try to lay it on me, that's different. i am not prejudiced against any one religion. there are no gods. that's all.
