Yes! While I was in college I did. It was an excellent read! Kept me at the edge of my seat until the very end!

Definitely grew attached to some of the characters, and it has had me at the edge of my seat as Well! I'm going to be sad when I finish it.

One of only a couple of books I ever started but didn’t finish.

I've been thinking about picking up some Stephen King novels at the used book store to re-read them. The Stand was really good.

Most people shit on it, but The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon really appealed to me too. And the short story collection that includes Here There Be Tygers.

11/22/63 is a great book by King I'd recommend that one. I'm actually going to the used book store tomorrow with my sister.

I read both versions of this - the original from 1978 and the expanded version from the 90s. Which one have you got?

I have the complete and uncut edition. I'm intrigued to know what was added exactly?

@Joey32488 The Trashcan Man and the Dude traveling to the tunnel were left out of the original, as well as random details here and there. These things weren't so much added as cut from the original, because the publishers felt it was too long in 78, when King was still a new author and didn't have as many loyal readers as later. It was King's idea to give back all the story that had been cut from the original.

Loving it so far! It's one of the best stories I've ever read! Lost me a bit with mother Abigail and her being super religious. But it's just a story. So sad for Nick am Andros ? and I love Tom Cullen laws yes! Stu just broke his leg.... dah fuck! Almost done going to try and finish it tonight ?

I did, when I was about 15, and I loved it. I'll read it again if I find a copy at a good price!
