I've had some experiences with precognition that I have no rational explanation for but also cannot prove (like, events that I dreamed literally coming to pass years later), and I would like to believe that we go on in some form after we die, if for no other reason than that I take comfort from the idea that I might be reunited with lost loved ones someday. When it comes to most things, I'm a Scully, but I have a little bit of Mulder's "wanting to believe" in me.

I will admit that there are many experiences I could not explain. With that said, I could not explain them. I am not a proponent of the "Ghost of the gaps" theory.

I am perfectly content in admitting that I don't know. I am not going to pretend that I know what I do not know and say ghost did it, Nor will I do so with an imaginary god.

I've never found any reason to buy into any sort of paranormal phenomena. There usually us a logical explanation of it, and that which is still unexplained I leave in the 'I dunno' category. I have never had a reason to jump to supernatural explanations, because that should be the verrry last resort, and even then.

I do get a kick out of watching the odd paranormal video here and there because they can be entertaining, but you always know there is some half truth to whats going on.

I don't believe in anything 'para' normal. If it did exist...it would be normal. Just like I don't believe in anything 'super' natural. If it did exist...it would be natural. But, that's just me.

I do believe there are simple things we still have not figured out. Only 200 years ago, if you explained about air and airplanes you would be mocked as a fool.

I've never heard of a paranormal event that couldn't be better explained by the way our brains perceive the environment, hardcore wishful thinking, or a good slight of hand.

I've had experiences that I thought were legitimately paranormal or supernatural until I found more reasonable and likely explanations for them. I have not had one genuine experience that I couldn't find a more plausible and natural explanation for, and I ghost hunt regularly. Every event I have researched has been, after I put enough pieces together, unimpressive in comparison to the claims of paranormal or supernatural activity behind it. I'm a huge horror nut, so any movie that I see making the claim that it's based on true events, I research it. I'd say the most impressive are mass delusions where whole groups of people see phenomena, but even then, I just don't know.

I have had a few experiences. For three years I hung out with real psychics. The "other reality" is not so outlandish or spooky. It was very therapeutic at that time and very healthy. It broadened my thinking and I was in good company with scientists and Mensa people. We all explore those segments of reality we chose or need to. No need to prove anything to anyone. What Is - is. What is important is to know that you always have that unknown factor - in everything - no matter how much you know. And that's not only okay, it is a safeguard from misusing your knowledge.

I for one...do wonder if 'energy' surrounding a person, could somehow be left behind! Because, we are all just energy, at the bottom line!?

Whenever these things are explored by scientists there is no proof at all that would stand up to any test worth its salt. What all of these phenomena have in common is the "unexplained" ... the stories have huge gaps in knowledge, massive assumptions will have been made, downright lies will be thrown in and a load of "myths". If we could explore all of these events properly then the truth would be a lot more mundane

The supernatural or paranormal cannot, by its own description, ever be verified by the scientific method.

However, if it manifests in any way on reality and changes any part of that reality, it must then be measurable and quantifiable and we can start to investigate. At this point it is no longer supernatural or paranormal as it can be investigated.

Thus there can be no paranormal activity, just some stuff we may not be able to explain at present (though most paranormal claims have been shown to be false).

I've looked but never found anything real about it. Much of the ability to read minds has to do with reading body language. People who are paid to pick juries use body language and personal knowledge to come to conclusions. It doesn't always work, as the defense saw in the OJ Simpson trial.

I haven't found any evidence to support the claims of any paranormal activity. I do enjoy a good ghost story though.

I think paranormal activity can be easily debunked. The Great Randy, an ex-magician, has spend his life doing just that.
