There goes the neighborhood! So there I was in a Kirklands store browsing. Taking interest in a little side table a tiny, older woman, chimed in "Aren't those great. Do you think I should get them?" We discussed the pro's and cons and the little basket table's utility for throws and blankets and as we chatted for a bit, she began telling me how she was decorating a new apartment because she had recently moved. One reason she moved was because she was all alone in a very big house far out in the country. The other reason was because Atheists had moved in next door! I shrugged and said I wouldn't have a problem with that, since I am one. She said she was Roman Catholic and didn't time for atheists in her life, the friendly conversation shut down. But she still bought the tables.
