Have any other guys in their 60's received messages from much younger girls who live very far from where you live. These girls start off with "hello handsome" and claim that age doesn't matter. It'/s obviously a spammer trying to get your info. They assume you are a lonely old guy that gets a jolt to their ego and falls for this crap.

I'm not yet in my 60's but did get a similar note on this site. Took only a few seconds to delete it.

If you suspect a scam..turn the tables, ask them for money first. The number of f*k you btch I have had after that are shocking. I am not in the market for another partner but I detest how these creatures pray on the vulnerable.

Yeah, they're usually some little guy from a third world country looking for you to send them money. That's been going on since the internet was invented.

Report them to the scammers group

I haven't, maybe I come across as someone they couldn't scam or a loser that wouldn't be worth their time........

Yeah, I've had a few message me. I just try to talk to them like I would anyone else, and they go away after a little bit. I never give them any info.

Hmm,met one on Match, seemed I was all she needed in a Man I qualified in 18 areas, and she dropped her membership, started texting and e mailing me,I was suspicious of her story, she was in Malaysia buying and selling precious cut and uncut stones, took out a bank loan here, and used her savings to finance this trip.

Said their Customs had seized all her stones, she was almost being thrown out of her hotel, and could I see to send her $6k and she'd pay me back. Of course I said no, there's a 13 hour+time difference between where I'm at and she's at.so the next day it's only $800,I still said no,then you hate me's,and nasty language followed.

So,an eleborate scam? We sent over 50 messages back and forth,I doubt a lot of what she said,so be cautious, use you Brain, not your heart or gonads.....

I had a couple of those on Match, and when I called their bluff, they vanished.

Here's even more bad news, the likelihood of "she" being a "she" ain't real high either.

Oh yeah.. happens to us lovely older ladies too. Nothing like getting a marriage proposal in a sentence of introduction.. lol

We have an entire post about it. Scammers are trying on here too. Might find they have a tougher audience here.
