Blaming the other side is a common ploy. It is almost automatic (Hitler blamed the burning of the Reichtag -congress building - on the communists who were the polar opposites of the Nazis). Many of tRump supporters are conspiratoralists and always looking for someone else to blame. Problem is is often works.

Was never any doubt in my mind.

While I believe Trump supporters are stupid, evil, or insane, I’d hate to say that this particular nut job is typical. OTOH, with the racist synagogue shooting, it’s starting to look like the Venn diagram for racists and Trump supporters is nearly a single circle.

That’s definitely NOT an alternative fact but a real fact.
