I don't really celebrate it. It's always a bad time of the year for me

I do not celebrate it. Nor do I even participate. I also don't ruin it for others. Everyone I know celebrates it. They just know better to ask me any questions about Christmas lol.

My inner Grinch tries hard to tell children there is no Santa but I control it for the sake of everyone's sensitivies and fanciful idealism ?

I haven't celebrated Xmas since my son was 7 and realized Santa wasn't real. It was a convenient excuse to put off buying things he wanted after his birthday. I always had a spending limit of $200 dollars that I never went over.

My family has always celebrated Christmas as a time to do something fun together. Only children exchange gifts. Adults just hang out, play music, sing caroles and enjoy each other's company.

If wasn't for family i wouldn't bother with it.

I drag myself to a family event, but honestly any good Xmases are in the past and I'd happily skip it.

I have no problems enjoying a holiday that was originally banned in puritan communities. It would be nice if it went back to how the celebration was historically. Mind you I'm in new orleans, much of the calender and culture is the way it is because of the catholic church's influence.

I celebrate it as a family thing. It really doesn’t have much to do with religion for the average person anyway if you really think about it. I enjoy the lights, food and family
