I hit 7 a few months ago and it's been a slow go since I am maxed out on likes- so a like from me is genuine since I can't get credit for it anyway.

I tend to be on here more when I am off the next day so I have periods where I comment a lot and have added a few points but it is likely to be a long haul to 8

Why do you care about points? It drives me crazy that the admin has created a competition for their personal amusement. Some people just post nonsense for points. Admin is laughing at all of us.

Don't feel bad. I have been at 7.5 since 1968. I wasn't even born then, but I don't let it worry me.

I don't know when I hit 7.2, but it seemed like it took for frakking ever. I think it's exponential growth between levels, they don't want to give away too many shirts or something.

Calm down. You have to gain 40,000 points to get from Level 7 to Level 8.

The points between levels can accrue rather slowly, but I see it as a journey more than a destination. If it were that important to me, I suppose I could implement a strategy to maximize point accumulation... but that sounds too much like work.
