Do any of you have the list of achievements by President Trump that serves the interests of the people? I am struggling to identify them. Please help.

Because of Trump, all that hidden racism, misogyny and xenophobia is rampant. The haters feel safe to spew their hate in public and minorities live in a country that makes them fear for their own safety. Its a rough way to learn how sick our country really is. Ya, that is Trump's legacy.

Obama was the one who started the racism crap.

Trump put the very thing that allows you to be free in the # 1 priority. The left is trying to usurp it and when that happens, then what. You'll have nothing to protect your rights.

Nope

Whatever happens from now on can be credited to Trump, good or bad. There's like a 1 year grace period. It's funny that when the stock market was doing well while Obama's seat was still warm, Trump took credit for it, but when the market is in a market correction that went down about 10% so far, the Republicans say it's Obama's fault. I wasn't a big fan of Obama either so I'm not biased when I say this.

There was increased jobs...no, that was leftover from Obama. Okay, the way he brings the country together...no, not him. Well, there's the role model...oh, you said achievements. Wait, he was the first minority-elected misogynist in the 21st century. That is an astounding achievement for a free country! Yeah, he's legend. Bahahaha

OK,how do that serve in the interest if the public?

@0752532706 oh. Sorry. I thought said in his pubic. Nevermind

yes he has given people something they can point to when they deal with evangelicals in the future. To quote the former head of the RNC:

“I have very simple admonition: just shut the hell up and don’t preach to me about anything ever again.”

“After telling me who to love, what to believe, what to do and what not to do and now you sit back and the prostitutes don’t matter, the grabbing the you-know-what doesn’t matter, the outright behavior and lies don’t matter, just shut up!”

“They have no voice of authority anymore for me.”

and for the mormons I can just point out that they sang for him and voted for him. This is greatest achievement, I and people who agree with me, can now invoke him in every argument forever. So the next time someone comes to your door to tell you about Mormonism ask him if you can grab his mother by the you know what, and remind him that he voted and sang for a man who would.

In terms of real achievements that benefit our people as a whole, your list would be a blank sheet of paper.

That is exactly what I ask Trump supporters. And not even a whole list, just one thing. No one has responded.

Wow, for a bunch of "free thinkers" I've never seen such an echo chamber.

Do you have such a list?

I don't think it's an echo chamber when a question was asked and it's answered similarly.

Kind of like if someone asked the group of anyone likes breathing clean air. I think most would answer similarly. But the question is open ended, so anyone could have an answer that differs to varying degrees.

In this case, since you use the term echo chamber, and that has negative connotations, perhaps instead of simply making that statement you could say "why yes, I do have such a list" and present that list to the "echo chamber".

@Susan1266 To what end? I've been here less than a week and so far I've seen roughly two threads per day bashing Trump with the occasional extra insult thrown in on unrelated topics. I wouldn't bother trying to defend him because I already know that those who carry around such hate for the guy aren't going to acknowledge anything positive he's done. If you had that capacity, you wouldn't need me to point them out. Are you shitting me? People have been talking about getting more money back in their paychecks and they're even mad at him for that? Yeah, that's rational. I didn't vote for him, but I didn't vote for the criminal Hillary either. But I'll say between the two of them, I'm not sorry she lost. I disliked Obama a lot, but when I saw falsehoods about him spread I was at least rational enough to point them out, and I acknowledged the few good things he managed to do. I've yet to see that here in these dumb threads. I've not seen anything but reacharounds and parroting Occupy Democrats memes. Not exactly cerebral.

I’m mad at Trump because of the tax bill even though my brother-in-law is getting $200 a month more in his paycheck because over 10 years the bill will raise the deficit $1.5 Trillion. What happened to the Republican Party? Remember when they wouldn’t pass any spending bill unless it was offset by the same amount in cuts? My how times have changed. @Taijiguy

@Norie Trump knows that tax cuts aren't a zero sum game. Those cuts promote the repatriotization of corporate money. Which result in more jobs and ultimately more tax revenue.
But then again, taxation is theft. So....

If taxation is theft Then do we live in a country with no roads or bridges or fire departments? @Taijiguy

@Norie it's called the free market.

@Taijiguy I've not see a paycheck go up appreciably, nor have I seen any living expenses go down. Those benefits must be for people making a lot of money.

I have heard nice words from him, I've heard ugly words from him, and I've heard incredibly moronic words from him. I also did not consider any of the other candidates viable.

The fact of the matter is that even you still won't list the supposed benefits that his supporters claim that there "is tons of". You use the schoolyard taunt of "if you don't know, I'm not gonna tell you". I accept evidence, even if I don't like it; kinda what we intellectual skeptics must do.

@Susan1266 Actually none of what you said regarding my response is true. I never said anything of the sort. What I said was that those who hate him so much never acknowedge anything good he does. I've been in enough of these discussions to know that. But I also said I didn't vote for him. There's plenty to dislike about him, but the reality is, the left and the media hung a bunch of labels around his neck that he didn't deserve. He has a 40 year history of supporting minorities and women in and out of the workplace. And maybe he's not very well spoken, but when he's so poorly represented by the left leaning media, you can't blame him for going unfiltered to Twitter. Yeah, it's like trying to polish a turd, but he doesn't have much option if he's to get a fair shake. People insult his intelligence, yet he took a million dollars and turned it into billions. Do you know that most people who win hundreds of millions in the lottery end up bankrupt and destitute and in worse shape than before they won that money? Yet somehow his sanity and intellect are up for question? He owned (before signing them away to be president) literally hundreds of highly successful businesses, but what did the left focus on? The six that went into bankruptcy. He's hired and employed literally thousands upon thousand of people, offering opportunities to people who may not have otherwise had an opportunity, and overwhelmingly has been praised by his employees as a good guy to work for. What did the left focus on? The few bad vendor and/or employee experiences he had. All without the benefit of anyone on the left even bothering to hear or care about his side of the stories. It's the typical situation where "one Aw-shit cancels out all previous attaboys". Especially when people are only looking for the bad, and refuse to acknowledge the good. No one can tell me that those who just summarily dislike him and can't see anything at all positive, are informed, or reasonable. Aside from that, The fact is, my comment was exactly what I said, just an observation that a bunch of so called "free thinkers" sure do enjoy their Trump echo chamber.

He has achievements??????????????????????????

2

I can't think of any achievements. Nothing the man has done helps the American people. I say this with the idea that all of us are supposed to be the same and I'm not into Nazis or white supremacists. The Nazi question was supposed to have been settled in WW2. Now Trump wants to make all of the haters and racists proud to be an American. Great job of making America Great Again. What he and his base have done is make America "hate again." All this does is help his support base.

5

Nope. Not a single one. I think the only things he could do to serve our interests is resign or die. Or both. I really don't recall ever seeing a more useless and pathetic excuse for a human with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Let’s see. The stock market is high. My sister’s husband’s paycheck went up....wait. The stock market is prob due to obama. And the higher payment also is raising the debt or deficit trillions of dollars. I get those mixed up. North Korea hasn’t nuked us yet? So I guess the $200 increase in my brother-in laws paycheck?

Norie Level 5 Feb 11, 2018

Is that in Public's interest? Or Party's interest? Are you serious with this remarks?

Notice that everyone claims Trump is the reason for our tremendous stock market. OK. Is he also the reason it recently crashed and took a 1000 point dive? LOL

@0752532706 Not quite sure what you’re asking but no this is not meant to be serious. Well...not much.

I thought maybe the stock market was going up because businesses did have faith in Trump as a businessman. But I’ve read a lot of articles saying the president doesn’t affect the stock market at all...either up or down. @DenoPenno

Alternative facts? That is a grand achievement and will now be written into history books for all eternity! His Presidency will be defined by this one "new" concept! Please help is right!

2

no, apart from being a nice big bright target.

Big, fat, bright target. Let's be accurate.

yes i conquer

If your a Trumpite, everything he has done serves the interest of the people. But that is only Trumpite people.

Therefore, not in the interest of the bigger percentage of citizens.

I’m a Trump supporter and I consider him to be a great president so far.

@Trajan61 Please tell me what he has done for the American people.

4

I cannot think of one so far.

We're all struggling - because there isn't any ...

And it's absurd.

Exactly.
