I'm very upset with myself. I ate a vegan burger tonight, and I didn't even find it horrible.

Dare I say, I found it tasty...

As a vegan of going on 10 years, I've eaten nothing but fabulous food. I make my own vegan burgers but occasionally might buy packaged ones. Yves is ok, but try Tofurky and Beyond Meat for higher quality.

I love my veggie and vegan burgers. There should be a 12-step program. "My name is Kyle, and I'm addicted to veggie burgers...."

Seriously, it's good stuff.

There are more vegetable flavors in the supermarket than there are meat flavors.

Nothing wrong with that. It would have been ok to eat a real beef burger too. If you want to live sustainably just don't produce offspring.

"Hamburgers" of any kind are simply a way to get that yummy combo of toppings into your face without looking weird......

I am happy for you, now there is an extra real burger in the universe for me to enjoy ?

I cannot eat beef due to severe adverse reactions when I do (I really miss steak) and I'm have found really good vegan/vegetarian meat substitutes but can't have those because they use vital wheat gluten (for texture) and I have Celiacs...which sucks. I like experiencing new foods but both restrictions make it necessary to know exactly what's in a dish.

There are a lot of vegan/vegetarian foods out there that taste really good. Some of my favorites are Gardein Black Bean Burger, Gardein Crab Cakes, and Chao original cheese.

I hope you threw it up immediately.

I hope you recover quickly.

So you ate something that did not contain meat or animal products and found it tasty.

Maybe you need to change your mouthwash... 🙂 🙂

I tried some vegan sausages, and they were quite good too, I just worry that I may start wanting to wear bamboo flip-flops next. Oh no, it is alright I forgot every pound of flour contains at least one rodent hair, and twenty insect body parts, so there still has to be some animal in there OK. And anyway I am an atheist so I'm not going to give up on eating babies right?
