I'm very upset with myself. I ate a vegan burger tonight, and I didn't even find it horrible.
Dare I say, I found it tasty...
I love my veggie and vegan burgers. There should be a 12-step program. "My name is Kyle, and I'm addicted to veggie burgers...."
Seriously, it's good stuff.
Nothing wrong with that. It would have been ok to eat a real beef burger too. If you want to live sustainably just don't produce offspring.
"Hamburgers" of any kind are simply a way to get that yummy combo of toppings into your face without looking weird......
I cannot eat beef due to severe adverse reactions when I do (I really miss steak) and I'm have found really good vegan/vegetarian meat substitutes but can't have those because they use vital wheat gluten (for texture) and I have Celiacs...which sucks. I like experiencing new foods but both restrictions make it necessary to know exactly what's in a dish.
So you ate something that did not contain meat or animal products and found it tasty.
Maybe you need to change your mouthwash...
I tried some vegan sausages, and they were quite good too, I just worry that I may start wanting to wear bamboo flip-flops next. Oh no, it is alright I forgot every pound of flour contains at least one rodent hair, and twenty insect body parts, so there still has to be some animal in there OK. And anyway I am an atheist so I'm not going to give up on eating babies right?
