I think I owe Mr Mueller an apology.

A while back I commented that I thought Mr M, a Republican, would give Old Spanky a bit of a slap for campaign and financial irregularities, but a pass on Russia. Well, based on recent disclosures, I was wrong. I said back then that I would be happy to be wrong, and I am.

It would appear the sights are well and truly on Individual1 (his new name) and his "no collusion" but "synergy" with Big Vlad and his boys in Moscow.

With a bit of luck the checks and balances in the US system might just work.

But Individual 1 is a dangerous animal, especially when cornered, and he'll wreck what he can't keep. So, hold on to your hats, boys and girls. Trump is going to be a bumpy ride.

Now that Mr Mueller has been jailed I wonder will DT be busy rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic..

?? Mueller hasn’t been jailed. Did I miss something?

My apologies, I was misinformed so deleted my post.

My two-cents...
I would like to commend the Mueller investigation for the extraordinary professionalism shown in the past year.
Often, I have felt frustrated by the uninformed speculation of the politicians and press. I would wish for something tangible coming out of the actual investigation.
But in fact, the team has operated with unusual discretion in revealing their interim findings. What we get are from investigation press releases, vague disclosures of interviews and timelines, and only what they are required to state in court filings. Beyond this, precious little in the form of anonymous leaks.
In retrospect, I greatly appreciate the vacuum they attempt to seal around their investigation of such sensitive and, hopefully soon, explosive findings.
My hat's off to Mr.Mueller and his team.

I agree. Mr Mueller may very well feel the weight of history on him, knowing that history will judge everything he does in this role. So he's doing it by the book.

Hoping the Generals have a plan...

The Republicans in Senate used too also. Compare what they said about him when the investigation began to what they say now. Two years ago he was a hero who would get to the bottom of things, now he's an enemy agent trying too tear a good man down. The last few years have taught me a lot about the GOP and how overtly corrupt, ignorant, and selfish it's members are and I want nothing to do with them ever again

I think if anyone can tie up little donny's tiny hands it will be Mueller. The ride would not be so bumpy if the gop controlled Senate would do the job they were elected to do.

Why would they? They're getting filthy rich off his presidency ... with the tax cuts and huge contributions from big oil, big pharma, big insurance, big tech, etc.

Mueller actually has quite an impressive record. He convicted the Teflon Don, John Gotti for one.
