Do you love coincidences as much as I do? I find them quite amusing and they happen so often.
I'm reading a novel at work and a different one at home. The one at work features an elephant trotting about the countryside. The one at home features a woolly mammoth doing the same. I did not know this when I started reading the books.
The other night, I was craving seafood chowder so we stopped at the grocery store to pick up supplies. Everything we needed to make the chowder was on sale! Fate or what?
"Strangers in a Train", the movie directed by Hitchcock, was playing in the Classic series at a local cinema. Last night, it was talked about in an episode of "Murder, She Wrote" that we were watching. What fun!
Over the past few months I have lucked into getting a bunch of random stuff, for free, that I really wanted: a little red wagon, a bike trailer, camping gear...and, if no one responds to my advert, I'll get to keep the Leatherman multitool I recently found on the ground. It's like if there's something I wanted pretty badly, for practical reasons, it would just show up in my life, completely unexpectedly, and for free. Kind of freaky.
Great, isn't it? My daughter is like that, too.
