I don’t understand the confusion It was cartoon that mimicked American society and culture even though it ironically occurred in a prehistoric times.
But if that scene is hard for you to comprehend then I’d suggest that you not watch any of the episodes in length because it might shock you into a catatonic State from all the question that you’ll need answered.
Oh and it’s Christmas that they’re celebrating
There is a weird theory that the Flintstones were post apocalyptic. When there was a Jetsons and Flintstones mixed show, the Jetson family can only return home when they switch Elroy's time machine to the past. Smoke some weed and think about that. Genetically altered talking animals? Ties and other clothes? Music? Television and radio? Etc.
I think they're right, the Jetsons were all the elite uppers who moved to the clouds and the flintstones were the blue collar grunts left on the desolate earth. Theres a great post apocalyptic theory about Scooby Doo too. Something like: the American economy has collapsed n thats why theres nothing but one abandoned theme park, estate, mine, dock etc after the other across the country. Every landowner or prospective squatter must resort to financial fraud and spooky schemes to reclaim a patch of land and keep maurauders away.
posts like that are why i love this site..
For that matter, why do they celebrate christmas in the Harry Potter universe? As a wizard, Jesus was pretty lame. Anything he did, Dumbledore did way better.
The gullibility of the American TV viewer.
Yeah other countries know better than to have cartoons. Americans even believe in flying men with X-ray vision and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound
Yes because it’s unacceptable for a child between the ages of infancy to probably 8-9 to be gullible and entertained by such nonsense ?
Fred and Barney’s thick necks always drove me crazy.
@PalacinkyPDX Yes! With their dainty feet and stylish dresses.
