You've got to be some serious shade of stupid to donate money to this guy. You can't just dump cash on the government and dictate what it is used for. That's not the way it works. I'm no constitutional guru and even I know that.

That's just it, isn't it? Even people who have taken an oath to uphold and defend the US Constitution, don't have a damned clue what it says, or how this country works.
I appreciate this guy's service, but he's an effing moron. He still supports 45, and he is a scam artist.

Hey, I've got a GENUINE Copper Nail from Noah's Ark here for sale, I'll sell it to the highest bidder but it has to be cash only and the purchaser pays freight and insurance.

If they're stupid enough to piss all their money away on this stupid idea, thats fine by me. And if any of those dummies are interested, I have some ocean front property in South Dakota for sale.

Somewhere there is another GoFundMe for ladders. A bunch of people want to make sure people coming into our country have high enough ladders to climb Trumps wall.

Yeah, it's right there on this page... notice the differences in the amounts donated though... quite a diff there..

Yes, it's true, but it's stupid AF, because it will not work no matter how much
money they raise.
The idiots who think it's possible for regular citizens to "fund the wall", have
absolutely NO idea how things work.
Constitutionally, the money is required to come from the US Treasury.
A group of people cannot just donate money to the US government, period.
A group of people cannot just "build the wall".
Landowners need to be negotiated with, and must be willing to sell their land.
As it stands, the majority of landowners along the southern border have NO interest in selling their land to the government, or anyone else, and do NOT want
a wall being built on their lands.
A group of people cannot cite Eminent Domain and just take it.

Besides, the wall has always been a stupid damned idea.
There are multiple tunnel systems all along the entire southern border that
would render any wall a complete waste of time and money.
Not to mention that it's logistically a terrible idea. Most people have no idea of
the multiple types of terrain involved.

The vast majority of drugs come into this country through legal ports, not over
the border as some people think.

The vast majority of illegal immigrants don't come across the border either.
They enter legally, with visas, and come in through this nation's airports.
They only become illegal when their visas expire, and they stay on past those dates. They also don't come from Mexico and Central America. The majority of
illegal immigrants are from Asia.
They also are the ones "taking the jobs". They have work visas, are usually educated and skilled in their professions, and are the ones staying illegally.

The wall has always been a stupid idea, and the ONLY ones who think it's going
to do any good are gullible 45 supporters who are too stupid, and too lazy, to do
their own research.

I live in Texas (Austin), and you are spot on. The only way a "wall" could keep undocumented workers out is if it were built around the entire U.S. of A., at cruising altitude.

Great presentation!

@MST3K Thank you.

I am guessing the conspiracy theorist scammer who started the 'fund' knows all of this and is going disappear when it hits a billion or so...

@Heidi68 Perhaps, but it's more likely that the money will have to be returned to all those who donated. Legally speaking, if the money isn't going specifically to the cause being promoted, it must be returned.

@KKGator true but I have read several things that said the founder of this is, well, let's just say he is no saint. And his hero is tRump, the master thief.

@Heidi68 All it takes is one person and the whole scam blows up. For instance, the couple who started the GoFundMe for the homeless guy, who they said gave the woman his last $20. Turns out, the couple tried to keep all the money, and spend it on themselves. The homeless man exposed the scam, law enforcement got involved, and every dime had to be returned to all those who donated.
I find it highly unlikely the fuckwad who started this particular "event" is going to fare any better. Especially since we're ALL already talking about it.
Stupidity usually always exposes itself, and being a thief is pretty fucking stupid.

@KKGator I agree but tRump was elected and we all knew what he had been doing - crap he had ongoing criminal lawsuits & they still elected him. So anything is possible

@Heidi68 Or tRump ends up doing a moonlight flit with the cash.

@Triphid right around the time they go to indict him....

@Triphid That would also be illegal.

@KKGator And, do you really think that would stop tRump?

@Triphid Christ on the purple crutch!!!! I just want to punch that disgusting con man in the face.

@KKGator IF you do get the chance then PLEASE use surgical gloves because shit has a bad habit of sticking to the hands as we all know and realise.

@Triphid If I actually got the chance, I wouldn't worry about gloves. Besides, the most I'd get on me is orange makeup. Plus, I ain't scared of bleach.

Organizer of the website has addresses of Florida and Colorado on the gofundme page; from what I hear, the people who live along the border don't want the wall -- and let's not forget the majority of the American people at this point.

Those of us that live in border states know how stupid the entire idea is. If these crazy conservatives had ever seen the border, most of it cannot even be used to build a wall on. Not to mention the number of people that own property on both sides.

@shayne69 Also, a lot of the land that would be needed is not even public land. The government would have to seize that private proprty.

They should keep the money and build a fence around their yard to keep the minority neighbors out. Or better yet, hide them in.

My favorite part is that at the rate they have raised money ($17.3 million in 10 days) it will take them almost 8 years to raise $5 billion! They have no idea how much a billion dollars is!

Is there any way trump can access the 17 mil. for his personal use?

@rogueflyer if possible he will find it, we should keep a log in case the number becomes stagnant or goes in reverse.

@rogueflyer His personal use, I don't know. I'm sure he'll find a way. But he cannot use it for the wall. As another Ag.com user posted, that has to go through the treasury. A donation can be made to the treasury, but it can only be used to pay down debt. Individuals cannot decide on their own, to fund a public project they want.

There's a gofundme for ladders to get over the wall. Give generously.

I would be more impressed if it was someone from Texas, Arizona, or New Mexico instead of Florida. it is unlikely the wall will go through his back yard..

Let them pay for it, fools & THEIR money!
