Just sayin'. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.

They bloody well saw that Guillotine blade coming down at the end.

@David1955 Nah, they didn't even see that, because they were looking down at the ground. Most of them probably had their eyes closed anyway.
LOL

@KKGator not all of them. The worst faced up. Robespierre went that way.

I'm very afraid that even with a favorable report from Mueller that tells all the treasonous stuff trump is doing and has done that congress, for their own reasons will still not do anything. Look at all we know now and the obvious insane lawbreaking crap he's already done and nobody does anything. Most of congress is still out for their own betterment and don't care about the severs damage that has already been inflected on this country.

I understand the feeling that nothing will happen and he'll get away with his bullshit.
I don't think that'll happen.
Stuff is mounting up, to the point where it will not be possible for Congress to ignore it.

Awesome, now lets put it to good use!

Off with is ed?

Why doesn't Mueller release an initial broad finding report now? I know he's very professional, but he could surely release an interim report confirming that Trump interfered with justice, or collided with the Russians, or is a co conspirator in a range of crimes, etc and then he can release a full report later with the fines and executions to follow. That happened to Nixon. Also Clinton. I think Mueller is making a big mistake working towards one Big Bang at the end. The great majority of Americans are desperate to know if he has good evidence to charge, indict, or implicate Trump. If Mueller is not careful his own professionalism and 'by the book' approach will be his undoing. It seems to me that Trump's crimes, up to and very possibly including treason, make Nixon look like a kid stealing from the corner shop.

Mueller is doing his job. He's not doing it to please anyone.
He's doing his job like he knows it's supposed to be done.

Not for nothing, but if you look at a lot of the RICO cases Giuliani prosecuted in New York, back when he was a REAL lawyer, some of them took YEARS to put together. The case against John Gotti took YEARS to put together.
People are not doing themselves any favors in demanding that he move it along just because they want it to be done.

As the kids like to say, slow your roll.

@KKGator agree with all you say. The difference it seems to me is that mob bosses didn't have political parties to pull every dirty trick to protect them, they didn't have the power to pardon any criminal for any cause, they didn't have an attorney general looking to shield them, and they didn't have 25% of the population rooting for them, indifferent to their crimes, lies and misdeads. Trump has all of that. I fear by the time Mueller's done, it will be too late. I very much hope I am wrong.

@David1955 Yeah, but the mob bosses could have witnesses eliminated. All 45 can do is threaten their families, like a little bitch.
Buzzfeed just reported last night that 45 told Cohen to lie to Congress about the Moscow 45 Tower efforts.
45 has threatened Cohen, which is intimidation and witness tampering, by saying he had information on Cohen's father-in-law.

Nothing is "leaking" from inside the investigation, but more and more is being reported in the media through dogged investigative reporting.
I absolutely believe that Mueller knows even MORE than what little we've been getting.

@KKGator interesting though that I was watching NBC yesterday and commentatorso were saying what I'm saying here, that Mueller should release some interim statement. It would help the Congress in its focus on Trump. So I'm not alone here. It would not be inappropriate for him to do that.

Time to lock up the Trump family and lots of others in his administration.

Locking them all up is NOT enough.
The penalties for some of them need to be the most severe allowable.

1

Sadly Trump doesn't seem to be the only one guilty of treason in that group.

No, he's not. They should ALL suffer the same consequences.
45, most of all.

I think a harsh punishment for POTUS would be to have to hang out with smart people. He would hate that

Not good enough.

@KKGator True but it would still kill him.

@AlexRam Not fast enough.

Fine should be higher for trump as he has caused this country trillions .

Penalty for 45 should be much more than just a "fine".
His position demands capital punishment.

@KKGator Very slow capital punishment

@Marine Agreed, but unfortunately, that violates that no "cruel and unusual punishment" thing in the Constitution. LOL
It would be appropriate, but we have still have laws.

@KKGator You are correct could we just put him on some deserted island with his family?

@Marine As long as it's continually encircled by sharks and sea snakes.
And has lots of unpleasant insects on it. You know, the most unpleasant environment imaginable.

@KKGator Good one!!

Jail them all. And fine all of them a few million at least. Put that to their damned wall : ((

Treason, at that level, demands public execution.
There MUST be consequences.
We MUST demand that the consequences be as severe as possible.
He's the motherfucking president for chrissakes!

@KKGator I'd agree with that too. Like it much better. But taking his money would probable cause him more grief than taking his head. We all know there's nothing in that head.

@freeofgod I think making him feel bad about being broke isn't enough.
It'll take a minute to get through the capital punishment process, during that time it would be fine to dismantle his "empire" and jail his three eldest children. He'd be aware of that, and it would make him miserable.
The culmination should still be a public execution.
Hell, I'd settle for pay-per-view.

@Dave75 Okay. I'd be good with that, too.
I just want him gone. At this point, I honestly do not give a shit how it gets done.
