Quite a few. Nothing to do for the first billion years. (or however long it took to create enough heavy elements for habitable solar systems).

Anne your perspective is a good as any other.

Since people tend to attribute human qualities to everything - I can't see why Death wouldn't have a bad day. It would probably be one when someone escaped him/her/it.
