Before I earned my degrees in computer Science, I was mostly a physics major.
One of many papers I did was "Hollywood" fallacies.
Don't get me wrong, I love exaggerated special effects.
But at the same time I was always, um, no, that's not possible.

With that in mind, one of my favorite shows ever was Mythbusters, where they took those hollywood scenes to taks.
Here is just one example.

there are many, many more.here's another one.

I studies Physics for 3 years, then focused full time on electrical engineering.

The movie "Gravity" just kills me. They break Newton's laws so many times you can't keep count.

One thing that always kills me is all the sounds we hear in space. They are all guilty of it. LOL! Except maybe for Alien. Wasn't their tag line "In space, no one can hear you scream?" =] 2001 too.

I think some of the fun in movies is to catch things that are definitely not possible or that don't quite line up...I think there are groups that do that...thanks for these fun videos!

Most movies I watch, I laugh often at how ridiculous it all is.

@jlynn37 What? no passionate sex while a dinosaur is about to maul you to death and you both haven't had a bath in months? ha ha ha
