Working on my sanity
I would like to say to you (if you are old enough), 'don't feel like the 'Long Ranger?' Most of us are working on our sanity...even into old age (at least if you know what's good for you).
I was working on my sanity for a while. I built a floorplan, hired a contractor, and got all the permits... but once it was done I realized I didn't need it anymore, so I decided to just go ahead and save it for later... in case I need it then.
Ha! Ha! That covers it...but don't discard 'it' just yet!!
Sometimes it helps to be a little cookoo when taking stock of the world we live in. I f you are too straight in trying to get your arms around daily events, you might dispair at your failure to understand things. First accept no blame on yourself for what you are seeing. Secong don't blame anyone else either. Things are what they are and blaming won't change them. Look for that which pleases you, energizes you or at least makes you comfortable. Now, make that most important part of your day, because it is. Enjoy that bit of life for what it is and for what it does for you. Acceot te rest as background noise for the moment. Thus is called taking care of yourself first. Its a simular idea as the instructions the flight attendent gives you in the unlikely event of a loss of cabin pressure. Masks will suddenly drop from the overhead, place your mak on securely and start breathing. Do this before you try to help anyone else with their mask. You first, then we next. Repeat as often as possible.
The fact that I've survived this long in life being crazy is solely a result of me trying to Grapple with my madness. It is not my fault but I am entirely accountable for What Becomes of it. No one else can take responsibility for my actions except me.
You're probably already sane. Just having a tough time. Sending you warm wishes.
I truly wish that were true
@GodlessVoice I don't know you but I think if you believe in yourself and your recovery, the Universe will say yes. If you believe you'll never get better - well, the Universe will say yes. It's hard to be positive when the chips are down. That's the challenge. But don't give up the fight. Believe. Say positive things. Surround yourself with positive things, funny things, beautiful things. I think we are all routing for you and we care about you.
Do not give up. There is always somebody here to talk to. Surround yourself with sane, solid people if you can. Life is precious, regardless the circumstances.
Anyone who isn't is either oblivious or crazy...
You and me both pal. More power to ya.
I go in next week to update my medication
@GodlessVoice That's a good start.
You seeing someone you like for therapy too? I realize sometimes it's the same appointment.
Good luck with that hope you find one that works for you.
@RavenCT I am at the mercy of MHMR
@RavenCT I recently was discharged from a mental hospital. I had a meltdown
Happens to the best of us. You are in a state of flux at the moment so try to take everything really steady if you can. Just trust that there are people around who can help. It will get better.
@GodlessVoice It does happen to the best of us. I agree with @Daddio.
Glad you are continuing to go for more help.
And take it easy - it takes time to reach wellness.
