Where are all these Scammer accounts coming from? Reading through my feed this morning and there are tons of them. Be on your guard, don't send money to anyone.

But... she said she loved me!

It's really pretty easy. When somebody asks for money tell them to fuck off! Usually I say something even worse. It is an opportunity to use that word I can't use any place else!

I never read through the feed. Everytime I look at this thing I've got another 20 or 30 notifications. Who has time for the feed?

Please send all the money to me instead. I shall take good care of it.

We had quite a few come in yesterday - more than the average for some reason. But they appear to be from different locations.

However we are also on an upswing for adding members.

Whenever I receive anything from those scammers asking for money, I tell them that I just had surgery and I am recovering and unable to work while trying to pay my student loan and medical bill, and my child who has been diagnosed with a terminal disease has to start radiation treatment, and my brother is recovering from having a stroke and a heart attack. I need help to pay for all these, and if they could send me some of the money that they have collected and maybe donate some of their own money to help me with all those expenses. Funny thing is I don't hear back from them.

very funny, unless of course, it's true, then you have my sympathy

@nogod . It's not true. I just like screwing with them. The part about my brother is true, but he is doing good now.

They aren't coming from Nigeria. Once I sent that poor Prince my account information I never heard from them again.

I suspect they're originating from Washington D.C., which seems to have a much higher % of scammers than the general population.

@Amisja How do I recognize one?

@Spinliesel Join our group, we can tell you.

@Spinliesel they ask you for money.

@Amisja What group? I have never been asked for money.

@Petter Can I have some money?

@Amisja Sure. I'll leave 25 euros in my lounge for you to collect in the next fortnight. I'll even buy you a drink when you arrive.

Good advice. Never send money. On the xtions asking places I offer prayers only. (And I don't send those either)

We do appear to be being targeted at the moment. I wonder if we've been added to a list of site that might potentially be good for finding new scam victims?

I think rather that our Advertising is working once again.
