Dressing for Brad Pitt? So what is the deal with women in their tighty tights putting every little bit out there for all to see, Meanwhile they maintain this perimeter stare that says, "You ARE NOT BRAD PITT SO WHY DO YOU DARE TO LOOK IN MY GENERAL DIRECTION?" I try to ignore them since I am not B.P. but sometimes take a look and am immediately rewarded with that "look". This seems antisocial and counterproductive for the most part since Brad Pitt is not likely to show up in the first place, and if he did he probably wouldn't feel inclined to talk with this person.

I am not trying to be judgemental about what they are wearing, they can go around naked for all I care, but if they want to walk around (hypothetically) naked does the horrible perimeter stare need to go with it?

You have issues.

Dinosaur. Stop judging women for how they dress.

News flash: Women dress for comfort just like men.

What makes you think women dress to impress Brad Pitt?

It seems like you're reading an awful lot into this. I'm pretty sure none of us know much about why people make the choices they make, and I'd go out on a limb and say that men seem to be extra clueless about women, as a youngster who's looked to older men for guidance. But anyhow, I don't think any of the women I know are dressing based on what they think about movie celebrities.

Me, I'm thinking your elaborate story about Brad Pitt is 100% your own world, so your behavior seems really bizarre to people who live in a different world than you. I can't give any thoughts on transitioning from that one, to this one, but I hope you can figure out how to do it.

Soo you are upset that you cannot impolitely stare and oggle women as you please at whim, without being called out on it, for being a socially incompetent dude or lacking emotional intelligence? cool story bro. And your first statements are literal judgements on given womens' attire in case you were too dull to recognize that as well.

Just tell them that you're only doing what society has conditioned you to do. They made the current value system.

Who's Brad Pitt??! Maybe, she's trying to discern whether you are planning to kill her. Predators stare.

There's a difference between a glance and a stare.

If your showing it it's natural to look. You can't choose who looks. If I want too look I do

Hey, I’m not Brad Pitt either but I see him show up all the time. I am however Richard Pryor with a bit of Steven Hawking and I find that a lot of women don’t mind my glance once I’m speaking to them.

Why do you think they're dressing for Brad Pitt? Maybe, just maybe, their dressing for themselves because they like the way they look.

As for their reaction to you, maybe they're not dressing for you and don't appreciate being stared at - just a possibility, mind you.

Right?! Also what a damn outdated reference. Because yea young women are totally dressing for middle-aged or senior men. Who's this guy kidding?! Goodness forbid a woman dresses for herself. Though I have heard the hypothesis of women dressing for each other because we tend to judge one another on our attire more than men do. Which I would say is possible, since as a teen I started doing given girly things due to female peer pressure or shaming, not what guys said.
