Not sad. Just an old building. Should be dozed or used to house the homeless.

There is room enough for homeless and money also. the problem is that there is no will to solve that problem. But even being an atheist I am not pleased with what happened to the cathedral. There is no need to mix subjects. If humankind wanted all problems could be solved and still kep our history.

@margarida

I don't see it as art. I see it as a center for brainwashing and false propaganda.

Tragic it didnt burn all the way down.

Also religions and mega churches with billions of dollars and political influence are a prime cause of homelessness. I guess all those people will get theirs in the afterlife, right? Sure.

@BryanLV can not say you are wrong!!! smile001.gif

It was indeed a sad day. If I am not mistaken I think I heard that one loss was the original crown of thorns that Jesus wore. I'm wondering how they ever found that item in the first place. Maybe it was kept with the wood slivers that were pieces of the original cross.

I agree. The artwork is a great lose

Toasted communion wafers transubstantiate into a more accurate skin tone of the character of Jesus. 🤔

Very sad...old places are treasures.

You are right. Places full of history.

It's a sad day and I hope they will be able to restore it!

Me too. I went there in 2007.

They'll never be able to restore the art that was within it.

@PraiseXenu also agree. And even if they did it wouldn´t be the same place.

Missed that: that's awful!

It is. I don't know how it is possible. Many teories on muslims right now

@margarida well the Muslim theories were going to be made whatever the cause... we will have to wait and see
