If we are all supposedly created in God's image, wouldn't that mean God is everyone, every race, gender, sexuality, deformity and everything in between?

I think they are going for the Greek idea of idealism. A good number of Christians believe that man was perfect and slowly has been degrading over time as we move away from the original sin.

I take a different spin on this idea -since we are created in God's image, then we must be creators with limitless potential

You forgot about forskins too. has God got one?

The “bullshit” we were given. ie, “Man was made in God’s likeness, show read “God was made in Mans likeness (by man). Same words, just in their correct order now. James

No, no, no. God is a white male. Ask any of those "pastors".

If we're supposed to be make in god's image, why aren't we invisible too?

The Lord is enshrined in the hearts of all.
The Lord is the supreme reality.
Rejoice in him through renunciation.
Covet nothing for all belongs to the Lord.
Thus working may you live 100 years.
Thus alone will you work in real freedom.
