Satanic Temple sues Minnesota city over rejected pentagram monument.

"Since the protests in Belle Plaine, the Satanic Temple went on to place a statue of a goat-headed creature at the Arkansas State Capitol as a way to call for the removal of a Ten Commandments monument there.

The Satanic Temple has 18 chapters nationwide. The organization says it advocates for a stricter separation of church and state and that it doesn’t believe in supernatural beings, including Satan."

Now we need a temple devoted to Santa Claus - which might have a stronger effect on simple-minded religious nutters as they might be able to understand the common allusions to mythical beings.

There is. I think it is called toys R us

@Moravian Surely that went to corporate hell?

@maturin1919 OK Hamleys in London then.

The only thing worse than an invisible imaginary friend one talks to and follows is his invisible imaginary enemy.

they make good points but not everyone is clever enough to get them. most people probably believe that the satanic temple is as its name proclaims: satanic, and since so many religious folks believe in the satan of the christian bible (not even present in the hebrew bible, i might add -- there is a ha-satan, which simply means "the prosecuting attorney" and has nothing to do with sin or demons or any of that jazz) they will see this as a paeon to their worst enemy. this will not convince them to separate church from state. it may have the opposite effect of galvanizing them into advancing the careers of such jackasses as we already have, who proclaim that america is a christian nation and should put god above country. i hope the point gets across to more people than otherwise but i fear a backfire instead.

Hail the higher power!😉. Funny how they understand separation of church and state better than most Christians! Or maybe not funny. Yeah, sad. I wish more people actually read the bible. Oh well. Hail Satan😂

Unfortunately this is the stuff that mislead people into judging atheists as Satan lovers, which is completely unfunded and ilogical

I disagree. As far as Christians are concerned, if you aren't one of them, you're worshiping Satan.

@kiramea That's exactly my point, IamNot !!!

@IamNobody Christians are going to believe that whether or not there is a Satanic Temple. Unless I'm misunderstanding your comment, you're saying that the Satanic Temple is propagating this, which (in my opinion) they aren't.
