Feeling this!

Maybe imploring to a better source? 😃

My garage floor sprang "leaks" because the ground was so saturated, the water had no place to go. I have a small lake at the end of my property. Still, I am much luckier than the people who were truly flooded or were hit with tornadoes.

We have been dry for a while. I actually need it to rain to see if my roof still leaks.

We've had 2.5 inches in the last 10 days. Enough already!

ONLY 2.5?

@Gwendolyn2018 Parts of the state are still under water from the March/April flooding, so we're thankful it was only 2.5. The major highway going south to the Iowa/Missouri border just reopened. And there are now farmers with beachfront property where they were planning to plant corn or soybeans.

@HippieChick58 When I first moved to MO 21 years ago, I do not remember such copious spring rains as we have had in the last few years. Maybe it my memory is faulty or maybe it is climate change.

@Gwendolyn2018 I lived just outside of St. Louis, MO and was moving west the year that heavy rains washed out all the bridges over the Missouri river in Missouri. 1993. I think due to climate change the extremes are happening more often. When I moved my "baby" was 18 months old, and I just realized that is more than 21 years ago....

@HippieChick58 Where I lived in Cali, there were devastating floods and an occasional earthquake--I'll take the quakes.
