I’ve never had a pet, but I had a roommate who owned a black cat named Pixie. Cats are already divas, but Pixie had been living with gay men so long he started to pick up that bitchy/judgy attitude. We lived in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle, which was within staggering distance from all the clubs.

I remember one night I brought a guy home and we were making out on the couch. I looked over at Pixie and he was staring at me like… “Really dude? That’s the third time this week.” And then he turned to walk down the hall and I swear I heard him mumble… “you bitches complain about MY hairballs!”

This is Jetty Jet. He's too much of a great big doofus to have attitude

we've had several black cats. they definitely have personalities.
although, our last cat was a tuxedo & he was a unique individual for sure.

I boarded my cat, Percy, this weekend. You wouldn't guess how insecure he's feeling now. He's following me around, demanding love.

Is that what happens with straight married couples?

Oh yes, and singles.

@tinkercreek I consider my (neutered) Tom cat, Percy, as my therapy cat. After a rough day with an impatient wife, he consoles me.

@WonderWartHog99 Us women feel the same but with an lazy, demanding husband.

@Jolanta If we swap spouses, could we get rid of the cats? 😉

@WonderWartHog99 Sorry I got rid of mine ages ago and kept the cat. Much better deal for me it was.

@Jolanta Perhaps that's why my cat is an unctuous sycophant.

@Jolanta What a great decision. I have dumped several men due to them being incompatacle with my cats.

@Dicaron I don't think I could live with a woman who was an unctuous sycophant who loved to swing from the curtains.

@WonderWartHog99 I think you need to try it to see what it is like

@Jolanta If Percy example is a clue, the curtain rod would come off the wall.

BTW, he lost weight in kitty jail. They complained he managed to rip the gate off his cat carrier. I'll have to buy a stronger cat carrier. Never knew he was that tough a Tom cat.
