AM I JUST AN OLD FART? --
I spend a total of, maybe, 30 mins a month on FB. I tried Twitter once, sent two tweets about three years ago and have never been back. I've never even bothered with Instafram, Snapchat, LinkdIn, Reddit -- any of the major social media sites that are mandatory in today's world.
Why don't I give a shit about any of this? I know I'm supposed to.

I am nearly retired...I don't care either...I just like the social aspects and information from a group like this...the other stuff is unnecessary and aggravating...I would rather read or take a ride out in the country and get a milkshake...
If anything, we are smart old farts...ha ha ha ha

Better than being a dumb old fart. I keep thinking I should try harder but I couldn't care less about any of it. I'm the same way with my cell phone. I use it then put it away. Everyone else seems to have their face buried in it at all times. I don't get it. I guess that's what makes me an old fart. If I weren't, I'd get it.
@Sgt_Spanky People get mad at me for not responding on my phone...well, half the time, it is not charged and then I have it on vibrate somewhere in the bottom of my purse..times are changing, but I have no need to adopt all of the changes...it is a choice..and I am happy with mine...
@thinktwice That seems like a balanced response. Le us all embrace our old fartiness with an attitude of acceptance.
