I don't know about you but I am thrilled Paul McCarney and Ringo Starr reunited onstage in Los Angeles saying "Love you man."
I was a major Beatles fan. Anyone else?

Peace and love - still like the old ideas from the sixties and constantly saddened that big business caused the downfall of that short beautiful era.
Beatles and so many others inspired a generation - till we were sucked back into the old order of life

The most influential band in popular music history. They changed everything in music from venue size, sound systems, writing, recording, and the way albums were put together. There is no part of the industry they didn't influence. i hear young bands playing and singing Beatles riffs, some not even aware of where they came from l'm sure.

I would not call myself a major fan, but a fan of sorts, sure. I love them as song writers. They still represent perhaps the best collection of songs that lend themselves to widely varies interpretive covers by other artists. That ability speaks volumes.

Well, Lennon and McCartney and some Grorge Harrison certainly..

I must say i think the Bob Dylan catalogue is more coverable although not so broadly may be.
