No matter whichever paths you choose. No matter,if you have been an agnostic,an atheist,a deist or a pantheist, you're actually a seeker of wisdom

No one denies that everyone at least professes to seek; the question is how successful they are in the enterprise.

In my opinion, you are being quite presumptuous with your comment since, as an Atheist and speaking for myself, which we all can only really do, I seek out knowledge and wisdom that is unfettered by the restraints and restrictions placed adversely upon it religious Ideologies and Restrictions, the very same restraints and restrictions that religions have placed upon the expansion of knowledge, etc, for at least the last 2,000+ years.
Deists, Theists,Pantheists, imho, ONLY 'seek' knowledge/wisdom in accordance WITH that which is PRESCRIBED by their governing Religious Ideologies and will, mostly, always baulk at 'crossing the defining line' when they reach it, whereas the Atheist will boldly step across that same line without hesitation.

One can be a seeker of wisdom and be any of those things, yes. I wouldn’t say a majority of any group actually are, but a majority would claim and like to think that they’re trying for it probably. The degrees of success and frequency of intentions meeting the road vary wildly for sure, among all categories. But I try not to judge individuals unless they’ve done something truly heinous publically, like your average republican.

That is really presumptuous. I don’t think that Hitler, for instance, was seeking wisdom. A good many, if not, most are seeking to survive.

@SukantoSirkar Most believe that Hitler was more pantheistic than Christian or atheist. So, perhaps you should be a bit more open minded...

@Rob1948 Hitler, for ALL intents and purposes was very far from being either an Atheist or an Agnostic, he was raised as a Catholic, served as an Altar boy and failed dismally in his attempt to become a Priest at the Catholic Seminary. He had delusions of Grandeur and saw himself as type of German Messiah as well. A 100% dyed in the wool Psychopathic, Sadistic, Sociopathic Bastard imho.

@Triphid not everyone agrees. There are plenty of links to alternative theories concerning Hitler’s religious beliefs.

And who's wisdom would that be?

@SukantoSirkar I don't think that is wisdom though.

Mangrove snapper yellow tail snapper and rainbow runner.

Sorry didn’t mean to offend about the legal statement. You would not believe some of the comments on the fishing forums I belong to. Not to mention game wardens troll a lot of post on those forums as well. As for me, I always make double sure about limits. If I have to study the length more than a few seconds I send the fish back into the sea.

Of course all rules have exceptions, so I would say this is not valid for Trump fans and followers or Republicans who are Trump ass kissers.

Wisdom is far more important, gained experience with knowledge, reflection, all of which lead to better decision-making.

2

More like a seeker oh knowledge for with knowledge comes wisdom.

2

You basically said everyone is a seeker of wisdom. I don’t see a useful point to be made.

3

Maybe? That is a big assumption?

@SukantoSirkar a long time ago I thought all, if not most people were interested and working to improve their nature...and then I met the ‘real,’ world! I find that a big portion of any people have a limited idea of what that means. Sad...
