Me too. It takes someone really inept to not be able to draw blood from me. My veins just pop up and say "take me!"

Depends if you're talking insurance and all their rules about how/what gets paid, or if it was a cash payer, who just gets an itemized bill.

Are u talking ultrasound or a simple vein finder device ?

@Pralina1 was told it was a vein finder a specially trained nurse used it part of the IV team

@bobwjr then it was ultrasound iv placing services . $$. Simple vein finders are not at any cost for the client .
Someone from the PICC team did this for u , that's y $$.

@Pralina1 Years ago a tech came down from nucleur meds to put an iV in me because I asked for him. Didn't cost anything. He had gotten one on the first try a few days before. I have crooked rolling viens hard to hit. Now if you asked for air it cost extra
