Jeffrey Epstein dies while in DOJ supervised prison, shortly after being taken off suicide watch. Does anyone else suspect foul play? He had the knowledge to implicate billionaires worldwide in hid underage sexual supply chain. He could have been a big liability in Trump’s re-election if he had knowledge of his affairs. Having Trump worshipper Barr as the head of the DOJ, what a bonus! This was not a suicide and very predictable. What do you think? Did Epstein kill himself or was this a hit?

I hope he suffered a lot...I do not, cannot believe that such an ego-driven narcissist would off himself, either.

I think he had 'help' with his death.

Suicide attempts are extremely common among those awaiting trial, especially on charges like this. New revelations had just come out. The only thing that's likely to be revealed by the investigation was a lax approach by the officers and administration, who should have had him on a tighter watch.

4

I'm a skeptic. I'm not even sure he's dead yet. not sure it matters either at this point. Suicide or murder = protection of other perpetrators.

3

I don't buy suicide. Given all of the prominent folks associated with Epstein it is hard to believe there wasn't foul play. Why was he taken off suicide watch. Why did they move his roomate two days before he died?

3

When I first turned on the news this morning I heard he committed suicide, almost immediately they offered that it was not, that something else was going on. I do not believe it especially since he was connected to Trump.

3

Hey, doesn't the Vlad kill his opponents?

Him and Trump’s BFF Kim both do. Trump just has to be sneakier about it.

@Barnie2years Trump had nothing to fear with Epstein though. If he were dems would be using it to impeach him wouldn't they? Can't get a better reason than that to do it.

@jniece, the only way the Democrats would get information on Trump/Epstein connections would be if it gets past the Attorney General Barr filter, who if Epstein was offed, is probably in on it. So no, I don’t expect any evidence liking Trump to underage girls to ever come out with Epstein dead.

@Barnie2years I guarantee clintons know whether or not he was participant because they were. And HRC would have damn sure used it to take throne she thought she was entitled to rather than lose to buffoon.

3

And sure I trust the doj , right?

Money can buy you anything in the right hands. And I believe he had stuff on Trump. This was easier and less of a political risk than a pardon.

@Barnie2years Way more people than just trump. A lot of big names could have gone down in this deal.

3

Not sure but the timing is startling with the documents being out there yesterday.

3

He was way too much of a "show off" to kill himself.

Either way, it's no surprise. This was like Jack Ruby and Oswald after the JFK assassination. There was no way he was going to be allowed to rat out all the VIPS that he stood to get a deal for testifying against concerning his sex ring. If he didn't kill himself, he was going to be whacked anyway and he undoubtedly knew that.

Exactly! If they could take out the guy that supposedly killed the president, plus conveniently have him die without revealing anything, how hard is it to dispose of a guy that is already in jail under control of Barr’s DOJ? No Mission Impossible here. And how hard will it be to find a “friendly” coroner to support that claim?

Incarceration, regardless of whether it is deemed necessary for the safety of society or not, is a traumatic event. Without his material possessions and his perceived power over his world, he was left alone with himself. Maybe he didn't like himself very much at the time of his death and he didn't know how to cope. Maybe there were people who wished him dead because they were afraid of how we would testify. Ultimately, even if there is a video shown of him hanging himself, I don't know if we can know what other threats beyond incarceration he sought to escape, whether they were internal or external. I don't know what the prison's protocol is for a person to be put on or off suicide watch. Constant searching and direct observation is both an additional loss of privacy and it requires man power. People sometimes say one thing and then do another. He might have said he was no longer suicidal and showed no further outwards signs of suicidal intent and so then he released from that sort of observation. Maybe we will get more truth out of what really happened with investigation, but it isn't easy to say based on what we know.

He spent 13 months in jail previously on a sex charge. The difference? Judge in that case left him off easy (now was working for the Trump administration), and the extent of his involvement with high powered men around the world was much less known. Money can buy you anything. I sure can’t wait to find out that there is no video of the cell, and all kinds of excuses for his being taken off watch.

They take him off suicide watch, why? What had changed that he was no longer suicidal? First reports were all about suicide, then 1 or 2 reports come out that it was heart attack. Really? Heart attack? Not for nothing but I have never seen the symptoms of a hear attack misconstrued as suicide or visa versa.

"See the ligature marks around his neck, bulging eyes...classic cardiac arrest. Where is Sherlock when you need him?

I doubt he even had the decency to be ashamed.

An election year is coming up. So yeah...murder.

@Bobby9 not yet . But I don't believe the investigators .

@Bigwavedave, not when it’s being done by the branch that was supposed to keep him alive and who are dedicated at this point to protecting their president.

@Barnie2years yes exactly

I find the vote tally interesting. It’s running even between 1 and 3 with only one no.

He was going to prison for a long time and knew he couldn't last. He certainly had enough money to pay a guard to look the other way

While there was certainly motivation for someone to kill him, that by itself, to me, is not sufficient evidence to conclude that he was murdered. I'm going to wait until there's actually verifiable evidence showing that it was murder (I'm not great at keeping up with the story, so that may have already happened without me knowing it).

That would be the normal thought. But the DOJ was in charge of keeping him safe, and now they are in charge of investigating how he died. The DOJ is being run by people who seem to have only one job: keeping Trump from being investigated and mitigating anything that might be criminal in his past. Making a death look like a suicide is nowhere near a Mission Impossible and having control of the investigation makes it even simpler. DOJ needs to be totally transparent on this and make information available to outside agencies.

He knew a lot but unless they burn all the records and evidence they have it doesn’t really matter that he’s dead. I wish he could have had to face his victims but the crumbs he left leads to some big game. Let’s catch that now

Too many questions remain unanswered
