It’s obscene.. Much like the Robber Baron era within the US, before the people finally began to take some back. I feel there’s an element of US society that worships wealth … and though they’ll never achieve it, ‘get off’ on the fact that some do -- thus protect their every opportunity to acquire more, by any means.. I think it’s called Capitalism

In general, CEO pay is far too high. At least half of current CEO pay in major companies should be taken away and put into worker salaries.

Their pay has no relation to performance, but is completely related to how corrupt the system is with their pay being set by cronies they appoint to their company's board of directors. It's an interlocking system where everybody gets rich except the rank and file employees and the stockholders.

This issue further divides the very rich from the poor, as ithe middle class further dwindles.

Totally out of whack.

Not necessarily the phrase I'd use but it'll do.

It's out of control. One of those things that there's an easy and fair fix for, just cap CEO pay at some multiple of their lowest paid employee's salary. Then once again rising tides will raise all ships.
