Predatory men.
"You look like a victim," Stuart said in January 2019. I met him through online dating.
"I don't feel like a victim," I retorted. "I walk fast with good posture, scanning for danger. I never look at my phone or in my purse while walking."
"Because you are thin, you look easy to grab," he replied.
This chilled me to my core. His words haunt me.

That is why i always recommend woman wear hijabs covered with sharp spiked studs. Porcupines never get mugged! Unless the perve is a masochist, then i am fresh out of ideas.

I've read enough of your posts to know you're a multi-talented person. I hope one of those talents is Tae Kwon Do, or something equally protective.
@LiterateHiker If he was sitting at your kitchen table and you felt comfortable enough at the time, was he speaking academically, or making a move to possibly role-play? I've never understood the urge myself, but it's shocking the number of couples these days who seem to think, for example, that choking to the point of unconsciousness is valid foreplay or an end in itself.
Not caring .Most especially in myself,as i know

And what should meaning or purpose be? Sadly, we are so brainwashed by the prevailing religious milieu that we assume such words have genuine underlying meaning. That's what critical thinking is all about. Why should someone be scared? What is purpose or meaning of being afraid?
@racocn8 I think the purpose of being afraid is to motivate us to do something about it.
