As of this writing I’m 283 points from level 8. This puts me into a quandary – it’ll be the second time I’ve hit level 8 here, and I'm actually an atheist so don’t feel comfortable wearing the shirt out and about. Last I saw my original shirt the dog was quite happily wearing it at a friend’s BBQ – I should admit here that there were drugs and alcohol involved - anyways he disappeared for about an hour with the neighbors golden lab and came back sans shirt. He’s been way to embarrassed to talk about what happened and has apologized for losing the shirt, and we've put that episode behind us after a few weeks of therapy.

So I don’t really want the shirt.

It’s the pen I’m after. Did you know you get a pen with the shirt? Anyways, I lost the pen (it was a very fine pen, so this isn’t trivial…at all) when I moved from Albuquerque to Everett and would like another. As mentioned previously it was a fine pen, and one of its most redeeming features was that it was free, so don’t go suggesting I go buy one and ruin it.

So my question is this: do I get the shirt and pen, or skip the whole thing? Seems like a waste to get and not wear the shirt, but damn…a free pen

And yes, I’m point whoring.

I love a good pen!

They may not be sending pens any longer. I just got my shirt last week and no pen was in there.

Well fuck. My dreams of a long, happy retirement are now dashed.

At least I still have vodka.

I will happily take the shirt off of your hands... donate it to me!! XD 😉

I can't believe you even have to ask. You get the shirt and donate it at your local church clothes drive. Why would you want to pass up an opportunity like that?

Well, just maybe they aren't agnostic? I'm not going to force someone to advertise something they aren't just because they can't afford something - talk about entitlement. Why would you, is the question?

@1of5 Well, now I know why you had to ask.

@UpsideDownAgain but I don't know why you had to ask what you did.

Neither one of us is likely to like the answer, so nevermind.

Don't be such wimpy woos-puss, wear the shirt proudly and let the Faithfools know there IS another Pagan in this world that they can no longer burn at the stake.

It'll be my new profile pic 😉

@1of5 Shit Mate, I wear mine proudly around this town at every chance possible and enjoy the 'strange' looks I get from the Faithfools as I walk past them.

@Triphid and were all very, very proud of you for that. Rest assured.

Good luck on getting the rest of your points to reach level 8. Your a lot closer to your goal, than I am to reach level 9.

Thanks, and good luck on hitting 9.

@1of5 thank you. My guess would be August 23 of 2021 for hitting level 9.

@freedom41 I'm going to Vegas and taking the under on that date. Don't let me down, now, there's gonna be a hundred grand riding on this.

Just a kind of 'humorous idea here, BUT just maybe we should get Admin to consider having the Levels go from 1 to as they are now BUT make the Ultimately achievable Level come straight after Level 10 and call it Level 666.
How many us would strive to be able to bear the number of the beast, I know I would just for the fun of it?

NO SOUP for you!

Well it's not free, so...

Get them both, and either donate the shirt to the needy or an agnostic friend, or better yet, get the shirt in your dog's size. It gets pretty cold in Everett in the winter. It's a conversation starter while walking your dog, or at the very least might get your dog some action, haha!

Not letting the dog wear another one. The lab still won't look either one of us in the eyes and this happened last summer.

Relocating to the tri cities to escape the Everett winters. Just gotta find our dream house then talk the owners into selling it.

The only moral choice would be to get the shirt, and hand deliver it to a homless single mother who could use it to seek self redemption. Also, for sure, include a sack lunch for her kids, even if it costs you some money. Becayse thats a way to prove youre a good person

I should walk the shirt to the donation site instead of driving there to make up for the fuel spent in bringing it to me, I suppose.

@1of5 im thinking you get a free pass since any homeless person you help has already accumulated negative carbon impact points by not driving to work every day. I mean, hire a fucking helicopter. Maybe admin will give you 4 or 5 shirts, even.

@MarkiusMahamius I could use the pen to write the check for the helicopter! Good thinking, man.

@1of5 havent you heard of apple pay? Wow youre old. Also, are you getting closer to 8?

@MarkiusMahamius but then I wouldn't need the pen. Keep up, man.

That I am, slowely.

@1of5 my bad, my bad.

@MarkiusMahamius it's ok, you're young.

@1of5 whatever you do, the only way we can end homelessness is with business logo tee shirts.

@MarkiusMahamius and cargo shorts. Not sure why, but it seems integral to the solution.

@1of5 pockets. Which segues nicely into why women will never be more than fashion victims

@MarkiusMahamius crap. I forgot that battling fake pockets in woman's fashion is how you prove that you're a feminist.

@1of5 unless youre grafting off men. A parallel business model. Sadly, its horribly ageist

@MarkiusMahamius we've been over this, they have purses and wasting time and materials on pockets that won't be used drives up the price of womens clothing, ultimately resulting in more women becoming homeless.

@1of5 on the bright side, its perfectly justifiable considering how much less we need to pay women.

@MarkiusMahamius awesome, isn't it? Glad were on this side of the patriarchy.

BRB, gotta go make the wife her dinner.

@1of5 man....
