Until we progressives who are farther to the left than liberals make more noise, the pollsters will continue ignoring us.

About what I would have expected.

Maybe liberal voters... But not elected officials. Not a single one in the Senate or in Congress. If any, they are still in the closet and speak out of both sides of their mouth. Can't offend the constituency!

I'm a mid, always have been. I'm also an Atheist, always have been. To be honest, I really don't care about "stats". I care more about how I interact with others. I never force my ideals, or ideas on others. But I will always stand my ground on what I understand to be rational. And will gladly have a conversation with any one that will do the same, mid, right , or left. As far as religion goes. I have see many reports on the decline of Religious affiliates, rather most are proclaiming "non". That doesn't mean they don't believe in so sort of God, or even spiritual, it just means that they don't adhere to any specific "label".

However, That at the least is a huge leap in the right direction.
