I have seen relatively little in way of generational support
on major issues here. Disappointing and baffling, I'm
hopefull this will change ,becouse this is affecting all.

Admire the sentiment but ... you could shut down the UK, kill off all 70 million people and make bugger all difference to global warming, plastic pollution or loss of species..... But if they tried the shut down tactics where the problems are real, they would likely be beaten with sticks, dragged by the hair to jails where life would become 'unpleasant'
But for me - pissing off a Londoner is a laudable aim in itself, so I hope they carry on indefinitely
