YES, because when you do not know something just start making something up!

As history shows, when physics was not understood, mother nature actions were justified with religious beliefs. Many examples along the way..... The earth is not the center of the universe (Galileo was shamed), there may be other worlds (Giordano bruno was burned alive...how f'ed up is that?), Thousand of women were torture to a horrible death and/or burned alive because of "the devil", thousands of Indiands got their heart out while still alive to guarantee the Sun would be out the next day, etc...etc...etc....the list is long, the story is sad and shameful but the trend is good. As we keep moving forward advancing knowledge, we keep shaking off the shackles of religion. Someday in the future, religion will be like Dinosaurs, just a thing of the past.

@K9Kohle789 Agree, they are not done yet. However, they keep losing grip by the day now. Give it time...
