Anyone find it ironic that this year Easter and April Fools Day is the same day?

Not really ironic, just coincidentally hilarious.

I didn't realize that but my very religious sister-in-law is going to feel "special" bc it's also her birthday. So glad we live in a different state

Absolutely! Funny you noted that as well.

Happens over the years I guess.

We have our community market on that day, I suggested we run some April Fools themes, and all was good until I suggested we have a "Jesus" running around yelling "April Fool".

Please make it happen!

I think its really appropriate being a day many fools relish.

Surely Easter is not one day? Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday are all part of Easter.

I've been looking at the years in which Easter Day (the Sunday) falls on April 1st. There's a bit of a pattern to it. The last time it happened was 62 years ago, in 1956. But we only have to wait 11 years for the next one in 2029, and then another 11 years until 2040. After that, there's a massive 68 year gap until 2108. So if you want to play pranks on Easter Sunday, just three opportunities this century! (It happened 3 times in each of the 17th, 18th, 20th and 21st centuries and 4 times in the 19th century.)

Looking forward to making chocolate dipped hard boiled eggs.

I wish it was on a weekday. I love playing April Fools jokes on my coworkers.

Send kids on Easter Egg hunt, no Easter Eggs.

I was thinking the same thing, what an interesting coincidence that the alleged resurrection is on April Fool's day. And believers don't think god has a sense of humor!!

I find it very funny.
