How are you gonna spend Easter Sunday?
I'm thinking of going to see the film The Death of Stalin, which has just opened in Canberra. Hilarious, because I saw it twice last year in London. If you like The Thick of It, or In the Loop, definitely worth a see. Oh, and yay for the resurrected Christ and all that.
Stalin was poisoned. A type of rat poison in his wine.
I would really like to do nothing. I've been dreaming of doing just that all week. But I may put on my best zombie attire and attend a family dinner.
I'll wake up with a resurrection and finish with a second coming.
I'll be sending you another bill for damages caused due to raucous laughter.
Meh
Couldn't care less about Easter but I'm lucky to have 4 days off over the Easter bank holiday weekend so I'm going to spend it on Lake district (northern England) with friends. We're planning to do some serious hiking, raft building, abseiling and depending on the weather maybe canoeing / kayaking as well.
Actually, I'm going to my family's and having Easter dinner. I may be atheist but I still love having an excuse to be fed their good cooking.
And I'm going for the lamb cake. I have been stealing the ears off the lamb cake since I was a child.
Probably on my back. It's been out for a couple of weeks, and it’s kind of killing me.
I’ll be spending it the same as other sundays. Wake up , tend to the dogs, and make sure to listen to the local NPR station at 7:40 for the Weekend Edition Sunday puzzle with Will Shortz and Lulu Garcia-Navarro. My son and I are planning to plant milkweed along the back fence in my yard for the butterflies. May plant in a few things in my garden plot too.
Easter Sunday? Watching "The Walking Dead" with some Carlo Rossi jug burgundy, some Great Value bulk cheddar cheese, and some Utz sourdough pretzels. And maybe some of that Romanoff black lumpfish supermarket caviar. Yes, I have expensive tastes.
Now, Easter Monday is a different proposition. That is when the Easter candy starts selling at 1/2 off. I plan on loading up then; those chocolate bunnies are great melted down and used in cooking. I just wish they'd make chocolate Jesuses: microwaving them and watching them melt would be loads of extra special fun.
Same thing I do every Sunday, Pinky, try to take over the world!
I would love to see a "Pinky and the Brain" and "Invader Zim" crossover.
That is always the first thought through my head!
I might walk up to a nearby outdoor restaurant for breakfast. Most restaurants here have a special brunch menu on the holidays. Then I'll probably take a nap on a secluded beach if the weather is good - but it's supposed to rain - so then I'll probably try to finish my taxes.
We plan on going out to eat for dinner, and then going to see Ready Player One. Family time, just like every Sunday.
Go out on the boat with my grandson, then dinner at a restaurant with the rest of the family. How are you going to spend yours ?
Probably finishing Quarterly Progress Reports, unless I'm done by then. Hah!
