I've been kind to ME...bought a new Kindle book; The Help. Finished it in two days, though (sigh).

Last month I gave my granddaughter a jewelry box that I hand made for her from walnut and Birdseye maple. When she unwrapped it at her party, a friend of my daughter just loved it and said "my birthday is March 29th, you can make me one". I'm a sucker for anyone who really appreciates my work, so I made her one, and had my daughter give it to her today.
My daughter called me today after she had given it to her, and said her friend cried when she gave it to her. She said it was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for her. It made me feel really good.

Gave a friend a piece of my art because he's been very good to me.

Pro bono work for an indigent person who was drowning in red tape and bureaucratic road blocks. She needed help and can’t pay for her underlying problem much less help in solving it. It’s a win-win because it makes me feel good too. I think the saying goes “I don’t do good in this world because I want the reward of heaven or fear the wrath of hell, rather, I do it because it makes me feel good not to be an asshole” ?

I feel bad now because other than letting someone turn into my lane on a busy road as they were having trouble, I honestly can't think of anything exceptional that I have done.

I was at the drs the other day waiting my turn with my 2 and a half year old soon. There was a lady trying 2 sign in and it was taking a while. She had 3 kids with her all under 5. She was having a hard time focusing and keeping her kids from taking off down the hallway. I asked her if it would b ok if they came over 2 where my son and I where sitting and helped us sing songs while she did her thing. She could still see us so it wasn't that weird. Idk what that poor woman was going thru but she burst in2 tears as she thanked me. I offered a hug which she accepted, then all the kids, hers and mine turned it in2 a group hug. I hope she's having a better day 2day.

Bought coffee and creamer for my roommate. Let my daughter and her friends use my car.

Talked to lonely and struggling people on the phone this week and sought ways to encourage them in their walk.

I am babysitting 3 female chihuas, there is plenty of opportunities with the little ones.

I didn't plug in the vacuum cleaner while the spouse was working on the mechanics.

I loaned a co-worker some wet gear while we worked in the mud and rain. Shared my lunch pretty much every day.

I must be bad, I have been thinking, and to be honest I can't think of much. I guess maybe spending the day Tuesday in another town to help a co-worker deliver some training to a bunch of lawyers, this guy is a teacher and has taught all over the workd, but was nervous on this one.

Someone I know needs help with her business selling crafts at special events. I said I was ready to assist her.

I just KNEW a coworker was lying about not being able to work, but I picked up their shift, on my day off, anyway. I'd like to believe if they have reason enough to lie then they need day off.
