Now... do you mean "attractive" as in "appealing in a person" then of course intelligence is always a preferred quality in anyone. But do you mean "attractive" as in "sexually appealing" then that's a more complicated answer.

Intelligence is appealing regardless of physical qualities but what someone finds attractive in another person is purely subjective and not based on one particular aspect.

Though ignorance and low intelligence can definitely make a person less attractive.

I'm not sure that can be answered as stated. I think it depends on how they behave in expressing that intelligence. Also, it can be a one of those qualities that falls into a preference zone. Some are intimidated by smart women over all so how they might express their intelligence might not even be an option there. Frankly I think people who let their fears of smart women dictate attractiveness as unattractive anyway.

Tell your coworkers about the halo effect and the horns effect. So that a previously conventionally unattractive person can become more attractive in one's eyes the more you get to know them. And the latter, a person can become uglier in your eyes the more you get to know them (they are rude, inconsiderate, arrogant, violent, willfully ignorant, etc.).

I am more interested in getting inside a woman's head than getting inside her knickers. The latter is more like an after dinner chocolate.

i can only tell you whether smart men are attractive: yes. even more importantly, stupid men are ugly no matter how regular their features are. so i assume that this is true of women too.

Smart is hot. Smart and fit is really hot.

While intelligence per se isn't necessarily attractive - if you're smart but cruel, that's ugly - I personally find a lack of intelligence unattractive. Wit is dead sexy, however.

What about men? BTW, there are various kinds of smarts. You have to be smart to be a good boxer. Lots of women like the looks of guys like Tyson Fury and Deontae Wilder. You can bet those guys are plenty smart.
