Do you want a funeral, or a celebration of your life?

I'm thinkin neither. the kids can have what's good donated, then cremate the rest and plant the ashes under a lemon tree or a magnolia tree. either in florida or louisianna. when my granddaughter dies far in the future I will be forgotten and that will be the end of me, just the way it should be. 😀

I would like my family and friends to have a nice meal together, reconect, and have a good time. I think it is an esential human experience to crave closure and comfort when someone dies, so whatever works for them... just please no church service.

Simply burn & scatter.

Not really. I hate ceremony and I'm not one for tradition.

No, and no....My life wasn't worth celebrating....

Teaching cadaver.
It really won't matter to me. 😉

Put me in a paper bag, set it on fire and walk away. Just kidding 🙂

I have asked to have my remains donated to science. With the money that they will save I want them to throw a party for my friend and family.

Great name I am a big Darwin fan.

My dad had a life celebration. It’s what he wanted. Everyone come together and tell his stories. Still got emotional but was excellent. It’s what I want.

I have already instructed my kids on this and I have gone with a celabration of life, then placed next to my granparents in a gorgeous cemetary, either in a casket or an urn. Haven't made my mind up. I may even donate my body- still deciding on that one.

Neither, I don't really care if people who don't have time for me in life show up after I die. If my kids and my siblings and their kids want to get together for themselves that's fine, but there's no reason to force a corpse to attend.

My kids know that I want my body donated for forensic study at a "body farm" so embalming is out of the question.

If you don't love me, accept me, treat me with respect and allow me to be me while I am alive then don't waste your time after I'm gone.

I like what Umberto Eco said in an interview when asked what he would like as his epitaph. His reply: "This Is The Philosopher's Stone".

Not sure. Burial in my backyard problematic. Re-evaluating-this topic comes up fairly often.

I think Id prefer the celbration or wake to a bunch of peopel feeling sorry and mourning.
