they might eventually stop him now ... but this onslaught of the youth will not be held back. it reminds me of DOMA. we thought our fight for marital equality was destroyed for decades after DOMA and society flipped rather quickly. same for medical marijuana. these kids are smart enough to see their sovereignty being swiped by the rich and they'll cut some heads just like the french did.

I think your analogies are flawed. The changes for DOMA, marijuana, marriage equality were not brought-about exclusively by "kids". And your "crystal ball" could be seriously 'clouded' ๐Ÿ˜›

I think a better analogy would be, like the RNC disallowing opponents of Trump on primary ballots, the DNC (et. al.) is trying to exercise some control of the outcome(s). Like it or not, that is how our current two-party system is "working" (or not).

@FearlessFly I wasn't saying it was all because of kids. I was commenting on how quickly it turns when it does. But however you want to take it is fine.

The leaders are rejecting Sanders and pleading with democrats to vote against him.

The workers, not so much. Same as the culinary union. the leaders tried to stop him, the members voted for him.

Many people in unions have figured out that their leadership are corrupt and have sold out to the corporations. The culinary union workers in Nevada voted in favor of the interests of themselves and their children rather than those of their leaders. If only most workers were that aware and smart. The union workers knew that their children needed M4A because their kids were unlikely to be able to follow them into good union jobs. They also knew that they could lose their union health insurance easily if they went on strike or their employers decided to screw them out of it later in their retirement.

Rightfully so. That is how I like it.
